When the heart begins to paint

I’m Nóra Polyák, the artist behind HeART by Polly Nora.

Art has been an essential part of my life since childhood. I attended a music-focused primary and secondary school, where I was immersed in the world of creativity and performance. As a member of outstanding choirs, I had the privilege to travel extensively, experiencing different cultures and perspectives that continue to inspire my work today.

Later, I graduated from Visart Art School — a respected institution with ties to its Paris-based parent school — and have since been working as a graphic designer.

While I’ve always loved my profession, its practical nature often pushed my artistic side into the background. Eventually, I followed the persistent call of painting, and it has brought me immense joy ever since. I find deep satisfaction in every brushstroke, in every layer that gradually brings a piece to life.

Through my work, I hope to share that joy — so that wherever my paintings find a home, whether in a living room, a salon, or an office, they may spark a sense of warmth, calm, and inspiration in those who experience them.
